Licensed Family Therapist, Mark Stegeman, will be speaking to families about ACE’s (Adverse Childhood Experiences) in Mora on Tuesday, March 27th, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Mora Elementary.
Mark will explain what ACE’s are, how ACE’s affect a child’s brain development, and address common behaviors that we often see in children who have experienced ACE’s in their lives. Mark will also share information about ways parents can help children understand ACE’s and their behaviors as well as the behaviors of other children.
Information shared at this seminar will benefit parents/guardians, daycare providers, teachers, paraprofessionals as well as other adults in any child’s life.

*Childcare is available for children ages 6 months – 10 years of age at a cost of $2.00 per child.
