How Far We’ve Come

There is good news!

The number of Minnesota middle school and high school students who use tobacco has dropped – down to 55,000 from 83,387 in 2008 and 118,000 in 2002. But, that’s still too many Minnesota teens using tobacco. Especially since 3 out of 4 youth smokers go on to become adult smokers. We can do more to greatly lower that number. Education is prevention!
