Mora Above the Influence (ATI) students shared positive messages with their peers on the last day of school before the holiday break. Positive messages were tied to candy canes and handed out, taped to lockers and placed on car windshields on Thursday, December 21st. Messages like, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind”, “Be YOU! Everyone else is taken”, “Believe in yourself and you’re half way there”. Messages left on car windshields reminded drivers to not text and drive!

ATI students meet during their lunch time to tied notes to the candy canes and discuss distribution strategies! Candy canes were donated by B.A.D.G.E.S. from the Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office.

ATI students also volunteered their time at the Holiday Gifts for Kids Distribution event and the Shop with a Cop event in December! They were on hand to help parents shop for their children and wrap their gifts as well.

The ATI group has been working hard and are looking forward to a new year, new ideas and becoming positive influences to their peers at the Mora Schools.
