The first annual National Prevention Week is May 20-26! The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration’s (SAMHSA) National Prevention Week celebrates the idea that everyone has a role to play in prevention. Events will take place nationwide to build awareness around the importance of prevention and how everyone can take action to prevent substance abuse, promote mental health and emotional well-being, and create healthier and more vibrant communities.
