A total of 39 individuals representing eight area businesses participated in this year’s Responsible Beverage Server Training (RBST)! Brian Kringen from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety’s Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division provided the two-hour training at the Public Services Building in Mora on June 26th and 27th. The training included information on acceptable I.D.’s, fake I.D. recognition, signs of intoxification and effective serving practices. Results of an evaluation given at the end of the training indicated that all (100%) agreed or strongly agreed that the RBST should be required for all alcohol beverage servers, and the majority (81%) also thought that servers and other staff should participate in the RBST annually.
