“ScholarBoost!: Securing your place on the road to higher education”is coming in June. This free program will help local students, now in grades 9, 10 and 11, get a head start on planning for college. Participants will receive hands on experience in navigating the sometimes daunting higher education application and financial aid process. Workshops will be offered at Immanuel Lutheran of Brunswick Fellowship Hall on Sunday afternoons on June 10, 17, 24 and July 8, from 2-6 PM; laptop mentoring sessions are available on Wednesday evenings 5:30-7 PM at the Mora Public Library. Enrollment is limited to the first 25 registered parent/adult teams. Click here for a program flyer. For more information and to pre-register, contact Bruce Arnold, program facilitator, at Immanual: 320-679-2015.
