Chamber awarded SACK Coalition Greatest Community Involvement

At it’s 2017 Chamber Gala on November 9, 2017 the Substance Abuse Coalition of Kanabec County (SACK) was voted by Mora Area Chamber of Commerce members as the organization with the “Greatest Community Involvement”.

SACK Chair, Sandy Juettner accepted the award on behalf of the coalition. We are honored that our nearly 20 years of drug and alcohol abuse prevention work encouraging youth and young adults to make Better Choices was recognized and is appreciated by our wonderful business community.

The Mora Area Chamber of Commerce stated, ‘SACK was given this award because they have created a positive educational impact on the Mora Area and beyond. Commanding the attention of legislators, they lead the drive in informing our public on an epidemic affecting youth and adults.”

Nominations for Chamber Member with the Greatest Community Involvement included Coborns Superstore, Kanabec History Center, Neighborhood National Bank, Refuge Network, and ShopKo. We are honored to be in their company and salute all the great work they do.
